Akin, owner and chef, said, "I strived to produce ‘soul food’ from slow-cooked and carefully prepared prime ingredients. As well as offering time-honoured spicy Caribbean food, I have taken the liberty of adding some unique extras to some of the most traditional West African dishes to give them a more dynamic flavour."
None of our dishes contained dairy products, monosodium glutamate, wheat, added animal fat or artificial colourings. We use only extra virgin olive oil.

This was great! Such good and original food.
Our two hosts were so engaging and welcoming and compelling to chat to! We loved it.
Delicious West African food in a cosy, quiet restaurant decorated with African artworks (that are all available for purchase). The service is prompt and impeccable. Perfect location for a quiet romantic dinner, or a small group of friends to get together.
Had the jerk chicken, oxtail, joloff rice & goat curry which was all beautifully cooked & very tender. Mango flan for dessert was excellent; not too sweet. Service 10/10 from a really lovely owner who genuinely loves giving people his food. Eat here.
I have been coming here ad hoc for over a decade. Superb food. Great people. Beautiful art. I struggle to think how a place could be better. One of my favourite places in London, ever.
This is the best African cuisine I've had in London. It's a cosy unique place with a African wooden art on the walls. As for the food, it was simply superb and the people there are very friendly. I'd be visiting again!
